On June 6th of 2007 CVII merged with HarvestWorks where our LifeSkills Program is now located. HarvestWorks is a Day Activity facility with programs for children and adults. To learn more about HarvestWorks visit www.HarvestWorksInc.org. Because this program is about offering a rich array of dirverse daily activities we call the individuals we serve in this program Participants rather than Training Associates. LifeSkills is a non-vocational day activity program developed by Cleveland Vocational Industries in November, 2001. It was designed to enhance the lives of it's Participants enabling them to work toward their individual potential and independence.

Providing a rich array of diverse daily activities!

Participants may include children that are still in school, individuals that are not able to function in the workplace, or those who simply have retired! Participants have opportunities to pariticipate in a real farm enviornment, are exposed to recreational activities, develop their interpersonal communication through social acticities & events, are involved in arts and crafts and volunteer work, learn how to prepare simple meals or snacks, do laundry, clean up after themselves, and tons more!

Participants plan, make, and sell hand- made craft items at our facility. They make rugs with loom and sell them. You may stop by CVII or HarvestWorks to browse the selection and purchase your favorite items to support us!!
